May 11, 2016 - FOR GLADYS TORDIL

We seek the help of the Lasallian community and friends in the repatriation of Gladys Tordil's body which still remained at the Maryland morgue awaiting for repatriation to the Philippines.  Gladys was the secretary of LSPAA in 2013 - 2014 and created this LSPAA Archer's Nook BlogSpot.  Please click on this link on Gladys Tordil for more info.  We appeal to your generosity so we can finally put our dear Gladys to rest with her family in the Philippines. If you wish to pay by check, please make checks payable to “LSPAA” with memo “Gladys Tordil Funeral” and mail to Aurora Arellano at 6615 Burlington Pl, Springfield, VA 22152.  Proceeds will be sent to the Migrant Heritage Commission c/o Atty. Arnedo Valera.

In St. La Salle, we pray, God bless for your generosity and may Gladys finally find peace in the loving embrace of our Creator!

The LSPAA Board
c/o Leony Gimeno - President

  2. Apologies for this late update. LSPAA has collected a total of $2,100 which was handed over to the Migrant Heritage commission during the funeral services of Gladys Tordil on May 22, 2016. On June 8th, Atty. Valera confirmed that Gladys remains have already been transported to Pikit, South Cotabato. The girls, Grace and Nikki Tordil sent their thanks to LSPAA for the support.
